This musical film was released in 2001. It tells the story of a young Scottish poetry writer, Christian (Ewan McGregor), who falls in love with the star of the Moulin Rouge, Satine (Nicole Kidman). It uses the musical setting of the Montmartre Quarter of Paris, France. at the beginning of the 20th century.
We are going to work with a song called "Elephant Love Medley". It marks the moment when Christian and Satine realise they are in love and they decide to have a relationship.
